The Dekko Chair is inspired by early 19th-century primitive design produced in the Western US. The oversized apron and soft graphic circle create a rudimentary yet playful form. When the sun shines through the chair, the hole creates a compelling moment with shadow and light. The chair is simple in form, but designed with intentional angles and curves to allow for comfort and ease.
Each Dekko Chair is made by hand in Philadelphia, PA.
CONDITION Prototype: like new; this prototype has slightly different proportions than our final design, and a flat rather than curved seat
