PRAIRIE PENDANT

from $3,200

Developed in collaboration with architecture firm Scott Parks Studio, the MUHLY Prairie Pendant reflects a shared appreciation for material authenticity and the poetic
qualities of light. Originally conceived for a Texas ranch, set in a prairie meadow, the pendant is crafted from spangled galvanized steel, a material central to MUHLY’s practice. Its design emits both upward and downward LED light, casting a warm ambient glow above while allowing soft, playful illumination to filter through hand-punched perforations below. The result is a fixture that feels both atmospheric and grounded - an honest response to its architectural and geographic context.
“The ranch house the pendant was designed for is set in a beautiful prairie meadow and everything about the house is designed to resonate with this landscape. In particular, galvanized steel is the main barn siding material in this area, so it’s a nice nod to the larger context,” says Parks.

Each Lin Pendant is hand-punched by an independent lighting shop near Austin, TX.
